“ The best burek in Vienna! Probably the best burek I’ve had in years! Highly recommend this place. The staff was super nice and friendly! Great outside seating area. ”
“ ⭐⭐⭐⭐⭐ If you’re from the Balkans, you’ll cry tears of joy. If you’re not – you’ll wonder where these pitas have been all your life. Pitawerk brings the real deal to Vienna – the crust is perfectly crispy, the fillings are rich and flavorful, and yes… even better than back home (don’t tell my grandma ). Absolute must-try. The kind of place you discover once and never shut up about again. ”
“ Best pita ever. Even if you compare it with Balkan countries where pita is a domestic meal. This one is one of The Best I tried. The atmosphere and The Location is also great. Beside pita you can try other Balkan products, such as cakes, coffe, ajvar. The staff is very nice and helpful. I highly recommend. ”
“ Truly exceptional service & food! This place should have a 7 ⭐ option! Magical find as I was just walking by, I could smell the deliciousness and couldn’t resist going in. Watching the chefs prepare the burek is impressive! A must!!! Thank you for your kindness, I can’t wait to return ”
“ This place is amazing we got the cheese and the meat and both were so good, lots of flavor with a nice crisp in the dough. The service was super quick and the prices super reasonable for how much food you get. Definitely recommend if you want something different while in Vienna or in that area as it’s quick, and delicious. ”
“ Delicious burek! Not greasy, has some meat inside. Better then most balkan bureks, however, also MUCH more expensive. Bosnian coffee was average. Service was nice. Great pie, but overpriced for what it is. ”
“ Very tasty and rich in filling, but also extremely salty and oily. Only the cheese one is not super oily, but is unfortunately very salty. They have very good slovenian yogurt. ”
“ 5 stars is not enough for the service we experienced today. The waitress who served us today, the girl from Bos. Brod (We forgot the ask the name),was so NICE, KIND, POSITIVE & FRIENDLY! She went above and beyond to make us feel welcome. The food was just like in Bosnia. As someone who is coming from Sarajevo, I can assure you that you will eat authentic Bosnian Pie here. The prices are very reasonable, and the selection is great. Yogurt was proper liquid balkan yogurt which we really missed (there is no liquid yogurt where I live now), so we were very happy to enjoy pitas on proper way! We are coming back for sure! Overall experience was truly to remembered and it should be a must for everyone who wants to try authentic Bosnian pita in Vienna! Thank you Pitawerk! The review was not posted, so I am reposting it again. ”
